Updating your Author Central Page Internationally

By FebruaryFalls January 10, 2014

I recently updated my international pages. Basically your author central page is a base for telling readers about your work, and Amazon wants you to take full advantage of it.
Each Amazon international site maintains its own Author and Affiliate pages, and presents them in its own native language. Below are the current available Author Central websites available:-

UK: https://authorcentral.amazon.co.uk
DE: https://www.amazon.de/gp/help/contact-us/english-speaking-customer.html
JP: https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/help/contact-us/english-speaking-customer.html
FR: https://authorcentral.amazon.fr/gp/help/contact-us

I don’t speak any of the languages, but I found that by following the English language site, it makes it all that much easier. Don’t be intimidated.

Okay let’s get started. Bring up the English language website:-

Now bring up the website for France – keep two tabs open and look at the English language version as a model.

This is another international website.

Remember when you first signed up for Author Central? Well one or two of the sites will either go direct to the the profile page or ask you to enter your name and title of your book as follows:-

By following the English language website, you will also be able to enter your biography etc.

…As well as add more books.
